I’m not a yummy mummy so please don’t call me one. Technically when starting this blog I am not yet a mum at all but I am most of the way there!

I actually think the phrase ‘yummy mummy’ is quite condescending of women but maybe that’s just me. Either way it’s not a title I wish to carry.

I’m not some preachy anti everything ranter type. I’m just your normal everyday woman who has a husband, a career, a few hobbies and shortly a child. Although without question having a child will change my life beyond recognition it will not define me, I will still be me just rather more tired.

This blog is a collection of the fantastic things things said to me by well meaning individuals in addition to anything else that spurs my fancy to share.
